The Groyper froglets do not speak for White people or our legitimate interests and concerns. That phenomenon is a multiracial online spectacle led by a handful of provocateurs—taboo grifters—who built followings by serving up simple scapegoats and cheap cathartic release. I understand why it's convenient for you, Vivek, to spotlight them as the public face of White advocacy—it lets you evade the substance of our actual grievances. But that deflection won't work indefinitely. Sooner or later, you'll have to address the real issues we raise.
The alternative (and, in my view, correct) vision of American identity is based on ideals.
America is not an abstract idea. It is a distinct people, the people who founded, built and continue to sustain it: White America. To this base we add many wonderful people from all backgrounds who have loved and productively contributed to this great country. But without White America, America's Western character would be utterly erased. Remove any other group, and America would certainly change, but it would still fundamentally remain America.
Americanness isn't a scalar quality that varies based on your ancestry. It's binary: Either you're an American or you're not. You are an American if you believe in the rule of law, in freedom of conscience and freedom of expression, in colorblind meritocracy, in the U.S. Constitution, in the American dream, and if you are a citizen who swears exclusive allegiance to our nation.
I agree. American citizenship is not scalar, nor is the essence of America merely a set of abstract ideas, Vivek. While citizens today hail from every corner of the world, the nation's fundamental Western character was forged—and continues to be sustained by White Americans. To downplay or devalue that historic contribution is to undermine the unique role White Americans have played in building this country. It also risks eroding our legitimate claim to its cultural and institutional inheritance.
Consider the implications of your argument that America is "just an opinion" that anyone on Earth can adopt: It forces White Americans—whose ancestors built this nation across generations—to compete for their own inheritance against billions worldwide. Republican and Conservative leaders—such as yourself—tout the "benefits" of merit-based immigration. Benefits for whom? Under a merit-based immigration system that admits only "the best," White Americans would face even stiffer foreign-born competition for what their fathers and forefathers created. Framing America solely as a propositional nation risks turning it into a global contest, where the Founding Stock could gradually lose control of our country. America isn't a sports arena where "earthlings" compete. It's our home.
As Ronald Reagan quipped, you can go to live in France, but you can't become a Frenchman; but anyone from any corner of the world can come to live in the United States and become an American. No matter your ancestry, if you wait your turn and obtain citizenship, you are every bit as American as a Mayflower descendant, as long as you subscribe to the creed of the American founding and the culture that was born of it. This is what makes American exceptionalism possible.

Did the author speak more broadly to his devaluation of White Americans in favor of populations from non-Western countries? What we know about the letter is that it emphasizes America as an idea open to anyone, which downplays the role of cultural continuity and the experiences of the longest-standing demographic group: White Americans. It's worth asking why some who most strongly champion the "America is an idea, not a people" view often appear to benefit—socially, politically, or professionally—from framing the nation in those terms.
The divide between these two views is more foundational than policy divides between Republicans and Democrats. Older Republicans who may doubt the rising prevalence of the blood-and-soil view should think again. My social media feeds are littered with hundreds of slurs, most from accounts that I don't recognize, about "pajeets" and "street shitters" and calls to deport me "back to India" (I was born and raised in Cincinnati and have never resided outside the U.S.).
You tout your American birth as a flex on your critics, yet you dismiss generations of White American ancestry as mere historical accident. You embrace the "soil" in "blood and soil" when it confers citizenship to you, but emphatically reject the "blood"—because it never could. This selective "civic nationalism" is transparent in its self-interest.
The vulgarian attacks you endure online are merely the ugly froth on a deeper current. Millions of White Americans are weary of arguments carefully crafted to minimize our legitimate interests, our historic claims, and our role as the indispensable source of America's Western character.
Even MAGA—and, for now, Trump himself—appears to be turning against your position. As visas are revoked, the border strengthened, and birthright citizenship challenged to the roaring approval of many millions of White Americans, the proposition that America is merely an idea or a fortunate birthplace is fading. Your moment, Vivek, may be passing with it.
Antisemitic statements are now normalized online, and it's not limited to the internet either. Rod Dreher, a conservative writer, recently described a trip to Washington, D.C., where he estimated that a sizable minority of Republican Gen Z staffers are fans of Nick Fuentes.
This new online-right movement doesn't represent the views of most real-world Republican voters — take it from a son of Indian immigrants who dominates polling in Ohio's G.O.P. primary for governor. But as one of the most vocal opponents of left-wing identity politics, I now see real reluctance from my former anti-woke peers to criticize the new identity politics on the right. This pattern eerily mirrors the hesitance of prominent Democrats to criticize woke excess in the run-up to the 2024 presidential election, even though most Democratic voters clearly never believed that math is racist, or that hard work and the written tradition are hallmarks of whiteness. That's a big part of why Kamala Harris lost in such spectacular fashion. If the post-Trump G.O.P. makes the same mistake with our own identitarian fringe, we will meet a similar fate.

These egotistical provocateurs aren't new—only our easy access to them is—and they aren't the main reason your colleagues hesitate to criticize or disavow White American concerns and wellbeing.
Vivek, you've spoken proudly about your Indian heritage and Hindu faith, and no one demands you abandon that. By the same token, growing numbers of White Americans feel the same about our people, heritage, achievements, and stake in this country. We won't be argued or shamed out of it.

Charlotte, NC – The Foundation for White Wellbeing (FWW) expresses its profound outrage and sorrow over the horrific murder of 23-year-old Ukrainian refugee Iryna Zarutska. On August 22, 2025, Miss Zarutska was brutally stabbed to death in a vicious antiwhite attack aboard a Charlotte Area Transit System train, an incident captured on video that has since sparked widespread public outcry and debate. Tragically, Iryna died alone, sobbing, and afraid, abandoned by bystanders who failed to intervene.
The suspect and career criminal, 34-year-old Decarlos Brown Jr., has been charged with first-degree murder by the U.S. Justice Department, with federal charges now making him eligible for the death penalty. Graphic footage released by the transit system shows the antiwhite assailant attacking Miss Zarutska from behind, stabbing her in the throat as she sat quietly. Despite reportedly saying, “I got that White girl” as he walked away, Miss Zarutska’s blood copiously dripping from his knife and hand, no one stepped forward to subdue him or to be with her during her final moments of life.
This heinous act, widely circulated on social media platforms, such as X, has been described by Charlotte’s mayor as “a tragic failure by the courts and magistrates,” highlighting systemic issues that allowed the suspect’s prior criminal behavior to go unaddressed, a consequence of the White erasure of White norms in policing and the justice system. The Foundation views this incident as a stark example of the rising tide of antiwhite violence, which stems from the incessant dehumanization and vilification of Whites by the media and educational systems. Miss Zarutska’s animalistic murder and her solitary terror as her life slipped away is a direct consequence of this antiwhite dehumanization and vilification.
As noted by many, the lack of media coverage and public action highlights a troubling bias that fails to address hate crimes targeting White individuals and Westernkind at large. Because this was an antiwhite attack, the Foundation calls on U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi to apply additional hate crime charges to ensure the full weight of the law is brought to bear on this case.

We call for the swift application of the death penalty in this case, as advocated by community leaders and echoed in public sentiment on X, to send a clear message that such acts of antiwhite violence and antiwhiteism will not be tolerated. And we call for the White race to focus on our people and the various forms of victimization we suffer on a daily basis.

The viral videos capturing this incident depict a mob of Blacks viciously punching and kicking a White man and woman into unconsciousness, leaving them severely injured and prompting widespread outrage.
Over one-hundred Blacks are said to have watched, cheered, filmed, and uploaded the videos of the vicious beatings to various social media platforms, but only one 911 call was reported.
In the immediate aftermath of this horrific antiwhite mob violence, all mainstream media refused to report the story. Cincinnati Police Chief Teresa Theetge scolded social media for reporting on the antiwhite brutality, saying that the videos of the "fight" didn't give both sides of the story.
This frenzied antiwhite beating follows a pattern of antiwhite attacks across the West, targeting White individuals and families in nearly every type of public venue.
The FWW strongly condemns the antiwhiteism that initiates or fuels such attacks. We call on local officials to locate, arrest and prosecute the perpetrators involved in Friday's antiwhite brutality, and we demand that they face the full consequences of their actions under the law. We also call on Attorney General Pam Bondi to launch an investigation into this antiwhite mob violence and prosecute those who are guilty of race-motivated crimes. By contrast, rather than use its nearly limitless resources to aid these victims, the ADL has chosen to use its immense public platform to smear these relief workers with antiwhite slurs, such as "white supremacists" and "neo-Nazis." Such efforts potentially compound the victimization of flood victims by sowing fear and doubt for aid and relief workers.
This raises a critical question: Why is helping one's own community, especially in a time of crisis, met with such vicious antiwhite rhetoric? The ADL's narrative seems designed to vilify White individuals for acts of compassion, suggesting that any support for White victims is inherently suspect.
This is a clear manifestation of antiwhiteism: attacking White people for their identity and efforts to assist others. Patriot Front, whatever their broader views and activities, are engaging in tangible aid during a disaster that has ravaged Texas as of July 12, 2025.
